Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) – Colombo

It’s important to note that Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Colombo is the main international gateway for travelers arriving by air. Located in Katunayake, approximately 35 kilometers north of Colombo, the capital city and 6 km off Negombo.

Most international flights land at BIA, which is well-connected to major cities worldwide. From the airport, visitors can access various transportation options to explore the diverse attractions and destinations within Sri Lanka.
